Planting Peas

Today we planted some pea seeds.

First we put some soil into our pot.

Then we made the soil wet by watering it.

 Here is the pea seed.

 With our pinkie finger we made a little hole and put the seed in.  We covered it with a little bit of soil.

 Now we have to watch and wait!

We also planted some Little Gardens - swan plant, beetroot, lettuce, thyme, courgette and silverbeet.  

Measuring Fun

We have had lots of fun experimenting with the linking cubes.  We tried making the longest one and then it went across the classroom like a bridge! We had to work together - sharing our ideas and helping so it wouldn't break.
