Foggy Day

Room 14 were excited by all the fog.  We wrote some Moments in Time to try to describe what we heard, saw, felt and wondered.

Miramar Library and Spiders!!

Room 14 loves to read and we really love to visit Miramar Library.

Eli, Abby, Calan, Lenora, Dylan and Edyn wrote this recount about what we did.  As a special treat when we got back to school some lucky people got a spider drink.  This was raising money for the Year 6 camp.  They were yum.

 On Thursday Room 14 went to Miramar Library.  First we sat on the mat and Fiona read a book to us.  Then we read some books with our friends.  When we had to go Reading Badger gave us a kiss!  We walked back to school to get our spider drinks.

5 Little Peas

Five Little Peas

Five little peas in a pea-pod pressed,
One grew , two grew, and so did all the rest;
They grew...and grew...and did not stop,
Until one day the pod went...POP!

Abby loves to grow things in her garden.  She brought some pea seeds to school so we planted them in little pots.  We put them in the window, watered them and waited.

We haven't got any pea-pods yet but they are growing enough to take them home and plant in our gardens.

Yum - Nachos!!

We really enjoyed the Nachos that the Year 6's sold to raise money for their camp.
